What changed, release by release

The site is early in its build, so every release stays in the 1.x line: small, steady increments. Each release band groups its follow-up updates and patches; expand any of them for details.

  1. v 1.5.0 · Release · 2026-08-27

    Production readiness

    • The evaluation request form now submits. It validates on both sides of the wire, rate-limits, and delivers by email; if the delivery channel is ever unavailable it hands the visitor their answers back in a pre-addressed email rather than losing them.
    • One canonical origin. Canonical URLs, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, structured data, and social cards all read the same value, and every page declares its own canonical.
    • Accessibility: a working skip link on every page, visible focus on both light and dark surfaces, correct relationships on the FAQ and the solutions carousel, and a mobile menu that no longer leaves the page behind it reachable.
    • Contrast: every piece of text on the site now meets WCAG AA, including the module cards on the homepage, which were rendering light text on a light surface.
    • Performance: the homepage went from roughly 10 MB to 3 MB, the hero image is what loads first, and layout shift is zero on every page.
    • Security headers, branded error pages, an app icon set, and a web manifest.

    Full-site build — every page live

    • Twenty new routes take the site from a homepage and one landing page to a complete, connected surface: the SDK tree, seven solution pages plus the hub, hardware, developer hub, evaluation, support, compliance, about, and the blog.
    • SDK: /sdk overview plus four module pages: Capture, Record, Stream (with the published protocol table), and Analysis.
    • Solutions: hub, six vertical pages, and the SmartVMS stack page, each with SDK-module pairings and real SmartVDO Edge hardware picks.
    • /hardware catalog with comparison table, /developers hub, /evaluate request form, /support model, /compliance documentation library, /about, and /blog with launch notes.

    • Removed a fabricated six-series hardware lineup and replaced it with YUAN’s real Edge platform models (EDG6N0 / VPP6N0 / PND6N0), verified against yuan.com.tw.
    • Hardware cards now link to the official YUAN product page; all related copy updated to “SmartVDO Edge systems”.

    VideoAI landing page

    • A dedicated Vision AI landing page at /videoai: dark-first design, full-viewport video hero, and a camera-to-decision narrative across nine sections.
    • New route /videoai with nine sections: hero, Three Ways In, Continuous Duty, pipeline tabs, perception compare, QDEEP, field cases, why grid, evaluate CTA.
    • Matched compare pair: the same street scene as a raw camera feed and as an analysis view with tracking overlays.
    • JS-free pipeline tabs: all four panels render stacked without JavaScript.
    • Nine generated video loops and eight images; every overlay visual labeled illustrative.
