Streaming infrastructure racks with live network indicators

NexVDO SDK · Module A/03

Stream

Every protocol the deployment demands. Build real-time, high-quality streaming applications. Match server and client roles to published protocol paths across live, security, conferencing, broadcast TV, and specialized deployments.

Role to market

Choose the role. Match the market.

Start with a server or client implementation. Select the published protocol family for live broadcasting, security, conferencing, broadcast TV, or a specialized deployment.

The live path includes built-in QoS encoding control. Audio Backchannel adds bidirectional audio from the client to the server over ONVIF and RTSP.

Select the path. Keep both roles.

Server + client

Build either side of the session

The Stream module supports server and client implementations. Use the role that fits the deployment path.

Market paths

Match published protocols to the market

Use RTMP, SRT, and HLS for live broadcasting. Use RTSP and ONVIF for security. Use WebRTC and SIP for conferencing. Use MPEG2-TS, NDI, and NDI|HX for broadcast TV.

Bidirectional audio

Return audio through ONVIF and RTSP

Audio Backchannel extends ONVIF and RTSP with bidirectional audio from the client to the server. YUAN announced the integration on January 22, 2024.

Published surface

One protocol table, organized by deployment market.

YUAN publishes the protocol families and server-plus-client roles. Certification scope, protocol versions, and latency test conditions remain unpublished.
