What we collect, and what we do not.
Six fields on one page, sent to an inbox and answered by an engineer. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking, and nothing shared for advertising.

5 facts must be supplied before this page goes live
Everything else on this page describes what the site verifiably does. These cannot be derived from the code and were deliberately left blank rather than invented. Fill them in at src/content/legal.ts and this banner disappears, along with the noindex on the page.

01What this page covers
This policy covers this website and the evaluation request form on /evaluate. The site operator operates the site and receives the requests submitted through it.
It does not cover the NexVDO SDK itself, evaluation hardware once it is in your possession, or any separate agreement signed as part of an evaluation.
02What the site collects
The evaluation request form is the only place on this site that collects information about you. It has six fields, all of which you type yourself:
Nothing on this site collects information passively. There is no analytics, no advertising or measurement pixel, no session recording, no A/B testing, and no third-party embed. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage.
Web fonts are compiled into the site at build time and served from the same origin, so loading a page makes no request to a font provider or any other third party. The site's Content-Security-Policy restricts outbound connections to its own origin.
- Name
- So an engineer can address the reply.
- Work email
- The address the reply is sent to. It is also set as the reply-to on the internal notification, so answering it reaches you directly.
- Company
- Context for the reply, and used in the subject line of the internal notification.
- Target hardware
- One of four listed platforms.
- Use case
- Free text you write. Please do not include confidential information, personal data about other people, or anything you would not put in an ordinary email.
- Timeline
- One of four listed options.
03What happens to a request
The submission is validated on the server, then delivered by email to the evaluation inbox, either through a transactional email provider or through a configured internal endpoint. It is not written to a database on this site.
Two server-side records exist alongside that delivery, and both are ordinary application logs held by the hosting platform for its standard retention window:
The form also carries two anti-automation measures: a hidden field that a person never sees or fills, and a check on how long the form was open before it was submitted, measured entirely in your own browser. Neither reads anything about you or your device beyond that.
- Rate limiting
- An identifier derived from the connecting IP address is held in server memory for ten minutes to cap submissions at five per address. It is not written to disk and not associated with the submission.
- Failure logging
- If delivery fails, the submission is written to the application log so the request is not lost. This is the only circumstance in which the content of a request is logged.
- Discarded submissions
- If a submission trips an anti-automation check it is discarded, and only the company field is logged so the check can be tuned.
04Who else sees it
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes the request in order to serve the page and run the form endpoint. Email delivery is handled by a transactional email provider. Both act as processors on the operator's instructions.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for advertising. There is no data broker, no enrichment service, and no CRM sync on this site.
If a request leads to an evaluation, the correspondence continues by ordinary email and is governed by the same handling described here.
05How long it is kept
Retention period — to be supplied. This sentence is deliberately blank rather than filled with a plausible number.
Application logs are held for the hosting platform's standard retention window, which is short and measured in days rather than months.
06Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Requests are answered by a person, not a form.
If you are in the EU or UK, the lawful basis for processing an evaluation request is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have the rights of access, deletion and correction under the CCPA as amended. This site does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
